Best Lightweight Single Stroller

This is the lightest and smallest travel stroller available. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a chic rectangle shape, and the wheels are much easier to turn than other models.

It also has an under-seat storage area as well as an adjustable shoulder strap that makes it easier to lug around when not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be noisy, which could disturb the sleep of a child.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its size. Its back under-seat basket is spring loaded, which means you can pull it down to stuff a diaper bag or backpack into and it will then pop up to protect the contents. It comes with a child's accessory holder as well as an adjustable reclined seat pad. This is more than what you see on a typical light stroller.

2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This is a great choice for those who are looking for a stroller that is light and easy to carry. It has all the features parents desire in a stroller, including all-terrain wheels and front suspension for a smooth ride. It's also incredibly light with less than 12 pounds. It folds in one hand and stand up on its own. It has two cup holders on each tray to accommodate the child and parent.

The quality, however it is at the lower end, and it did not score well in our maneuverability tests. It also has a swivel frame that makes pushing it over rough surfaces feel like lifting a large weight. This is fine if you only use the stroller on smooth sidewalks, but for most people, it's going to not be comfortable.

The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy with a peek-aboo window to provide additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can hold children up 50 pounds and features a five-point safety restraint. This is an excellent feature for older toddlers who have outgrown their infant car seats.

It's small and folds down in one step. It can be collapsed by pressing the button. It also comes with a convenient foot-activated break that is simple to create and then release.

The handle is lower than the majority strollers we've tested and some parents may be uncomfortable using it for long periods. The handle is secured in position when it's opened. This is a great feature to use the stroller on uneven or gravelly terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal stroller for parents who are constantly on the move. This ultra-compact stroller folds up and down easily and fits into the overhead compartments on planes or trunks in amusement parks (no need to worry about parking charges). It comes with a carry bag which zips up for easy storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter from birth and offers good sun protection thanks to its canopy. The only downside is that some parents consider the design to be utilitarian and cheap.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than the other lightweight Single Pushchair sale strollers. However, it was designed specifically for urban living and luxurious travel. It's among the easiest strollers to fold (and includes a convenient carry case) and offers plenty of storage, including the cup holder. The seat is comfortable for the child and the adult and it reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used with a newborn with the car seat adapter. The handlebar cannot be adjusted and could be a problem for some parents who are short.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it has many amazing features that help kids travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and has additional padding to make the naps on planes last longer. The extendable canopy offers good sun protection, and the tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also has an adjustable footrest that can double as a handle when folded. This footrest, however, is prone to damage by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

Uppababy's Minu V2 is a top stroller that isn't compromising on quality and design. Its compact design makes it easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces however its sturdy construction allows it to handle rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspension creates a noticeably more comfortable ride for both of you, and its durable materials mean that it will hold up to the wear and tear of everyday life without losing its shape. Additionally it can be enlarged to accommodate additional accessories like baby car seat.

Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was easy to fold and move around. Its squat almost square fold that folds into thirds, is among the easiest in our tests and allows it to be tucked away in overhead compartments of planes or in public transportation. It also features a color-coded single stroller sale-action brake that is easy to use.

The seat has an adjustable recline in multiple positions and a single infant stroller-handed adjustable leg rest, making it easy to find the perfect position for your child. It can also be stowed in the trunk of your car, and it comes with a storage bag as well as access to the Uppababy TravelSafe program which gives two years to the manufacturer's warranty and covers replacements for items damaged during air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy, an established stroller brand that makes a variety of models. This stroller is light and an excellent choice for parents looking for a sturdy stroller to transport their children. It is easy to maneuver, comes with plenty of storage space, and isn't difficult to fold. This model isn't suitable for those who want a double stroller or a car-seat compatible model. It does not accept infant car seats. Your baby must be able sit up on their backs before you can use it.

This stroller is brimming with features and comes at a very affordable price. It earned a higher score in our maneuverability review than some other models with similar specs, and is an excellent option for smooth surfaces. It also has a nice canopy and plenty of storage, including a spacious parent tray. The handlebar is a bit smaller than average and the front wheel suspension is a bit stiffer, but it is still suitable for adults.

If you have twins, or two children of different ages, you might discover a side by side stroller is the best way to transport them. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which comes with a wide range of features and a narrow footprint that can be used into places that other side-byside alternatives won't.

It features reclining seats that are individually adjustable, a large canopy with a peek-a-boo window and tons of storage. It's heavier than the other side-bysides but it has a reasonable weight limit and can handle the majority of kids up to 50 pounds. It is possible to add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller for infants.
